Programs at a glance
GCA was formally organized in North Carolina in 2012 with private contributions from the US and China. We were formally recognized as a 503 (3) (c) non-profit in November 2012. Since its founding, its mission has been to promote a global curriculum and the development of collaborative programs, activities, and opportunities for students and teachers of the US and China.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Global Classroom Alliance (GCA) offers a unique opportunity for teaching and travel in China. This program is geared toward American teachers and takes place for a few weeks during their summer break. Since the summer of 2012, dozens of teachers from North Carolina have participated in this summer program in China, teaching English to Chinese students combined with sightseeing all over China.
